
We did it again. Sally and I took the day off and headed out early. First stop was the tack sale. Then on to the parades, exhibits and programs.

Scot Hansen did a program on self-defense for the trail rider and another on making your horse road safe. Brenda Imus did a gaited horse program. There was an excellent one on poisonous plants in the pasture.


The highlight of the event, though, was Texas Thunder, the Priefert 8-horse Percheron team. They were amazing - one man rode a team of four down the main street of the fair standing on the rumps of the back two.

Later, the team of 8 came charging into the arena for fantastic display. And, of course, there was the rodeo.
