Another trip to the horse expo yesterday with Sally. Stacy Westfall and Craig Cameron were among the featured presenters.
The rodeo did not let us down. You couldn't beat John Payne, the one arm bandit on his paint horse rounding up the buffalo.

We split the back of the pasture with t-posts and tape and ran a hose to the portable tub for water since the barnyard automatic waterer won't be available to the horses. Our goal is to poison the weeds, fix the ruts and do new fencing in the cordoned off barnyard. Sometime in the near future..??

I took a few hours off work this afternoon to replace several fence boards that had broken over winter. It feels good to get this job done.

I've started to work with the horses more now that things are warming up. Bob and I I took Sparkler out back for a walk up the trail. We didn't go far because she was very excited and wore us out.
